1jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely diced (optional)
½cupfresh cilantro, chopped
juice from 1 lime, ~ 2 Tbsp
½tspsalt, or to taste
pepper, to taste
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, onion, jalapeno and chopped cilantro.
Add in the salt + pepper (to taste), lime juice, and stir to combine.
Enjoy your pico de gallo right away or cover and refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to meld so every bite is even more packed with fresh flavor.
Notes
Tip:Use gloves or a Ziploc bag to cover your hands when handling the jalapeños and avoid contact with your eyes. Trust me... it burns!
